Free Pickup and Delivery
Our Customer's Point of View

Sourcing Manager, Noel Group |
| Noel Group is a rapidly growing family of companies with ever-changing needs
and printing demands. When DigiCOPY opened in Stevens Point, it wasn’t
surprising that we jumped on board. Here’s how it happened . . . I was in a real dilemma. The year was 2000. On-demand printing was
becoming increasingly more popular, and our printers were having
difficulty meeting the deadlines that were required in this age of
fast-food restaurants and drive-through banking. It was expected
that printing could be done as quickly as some of the other
automated tasks in our lives. Who has time to leave the office, run to the copy service across
town to drop off a printing job, and then return five hours later to
pick up the printing for a presentation that
afternoon? But it has to be done, and those responsibilities fall to the
Sourcing Department at Noel Group. |

That’s when Craig Shuler called from
DigiCOPY to announce they were setting up shop on Division Street in Stevens
Point. Not only were they equipped to handle fast turn times, but they could
also accommodate us by offering pick-up and delivery service – an answer to
my prayers! Yet I was still a little skeptical. Were they just trying to get
our business, and soon they’d be tacking on a pick-up and delivery charge or
hiding those costs by gradually increasing their prices? I couldn’t justify
NOT giving them a chance, however!

These are typical examples of some of the jobs frequently
printed by DigiCOPY for us.

We began to challenge them with multiple jobs a day, and they continually
met those challenges and cheerfully picked up and delivered on-demand. They
not only met our needs but went above and beyond by suggesting different
ideas that perhaps could make the entire process flow more smoothly.
The time came to sit down with Craig and discuss how we felt about the
service we were receiving and to discuss pricing. Certain that the
discussion would lead to increased pricing because of our demanding turn
times and their frequent trips for pick-ups and deliveries, I was prepared
for the bomb to drop. Only when it fell, I was pleasantly surprised to see
pricing that had been put together to accommodate
our most frequent jobs. Not only were we not being penalized for requiring
pick-ups and deliveries, we were being rewarded with special pricing in
exchange for our business.

| Noel Group currently uses DigiCOPY’s services daily, as we have some
printing that needs updating every day. Our files are emailed to them,
and at approximately the same time every day, DigiCOPY personnel gladly
drop off the printed product to us.
There are several reasons we appreciate the pick-up and delivery
service that DigiCOPY provides:
• We don’t have to lose our parking place and park half a mile from
our office.
• We don’t have to brave the cold or snow in the winter.
• We don’t have to waste our time and gas driving when we could be more
productive at the office.
• Oh, yes . . . it’s also easy and convenient and makes us look good by
meeting our deadlines!
Thanks to DigiCOPY for understanding what business relationships are
all about! |
